Manage your Containment.AI subscription, payment methods, and billing information.

Accessing Billing

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Billing tab
  3. View and manage billing

Only organization owners can access billing settings.

The billing page shows:

Upgrading Plans

Upgrade to Professional

  1. Click Upgrade to Professional
  2. Review pricing and features
  3. Enter payment information
  4. Confirm upgrade

Upgrade to Enterprise

  1. Click Contact Sales
  2. Discuss your requirements
  3. Receive custom quote
  4. Complete enterprise onboarding

Trials

Professional Trial

New organizations can try Professional:

  • 14-day full access
  • No credit card required
  • All Professional features
  • Reverts to Free after trial

Starting a Trial

  1. Click Start Free Trial
  2. Confirm trial activation
  3. Trial starts immediately

Trial Status

View trial information:

  • Days remaining
  • Features included
  • Conversion options

Payment Methods

Adding Payment Method

  1. Click Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. Enter card details
  4. Set as default (optional)
  5. Save

Accepted Payment Types

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit cards
  • ACH bank transfer (Enterprise)
  • Wire transfer (Enterprise)

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to Payment Methods
  2. Click the method to update
  3. Edit details
  4. Save changes

Removing Payment Method

  1. Go to Payment Methods
  2. Click the method to remove
  3. Click Remove
  4. Confirm removal
caution

You must have at least one valid payment method for paid plans.

Billing History

Viewing Invoices

  1. Click Billing History
  2. View all past invoices
  3. Click to download PDF

Invoice Details

Each invoice shows:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Items and quantities
  • Subtotal and taxes
  • Total paid
  • Payment method used

Managing Subscription

Change Billing Cycle

Switch between monthly and annual:

  1. Click Change Billing Cycle
  2. Select new cycle
  3. Review pricing difference
  4. Confirm change

Annual billing saves ~15%.

Cancel Subscription

  1. Click Cancel Subscription
  2. Provide cancellation reason
  3. Review what you'll lose
  4. Confirm cancellation

After cancellation:

  • Access continues until period end
  • Reverts to Free plan
  • Data retained per plan limits

Reactivate Subscription

If cancelled but not yet expired:

  1. Click Reactivate
  2. Confirm reactivation
  3. Billing resumes normally

Billing Notifications

Email Notifications

Receive emails for:

  • Payment successful
  • Payment failed
  • Subscription changes
  • Trial ending

Configuring Notifications

  1. Go to Notification Settings
  2. Enable/disable billing emails
  3. Add additional recipients

Usage Monitoring

Current Usage

View usage against limits:

  • Alerts this period
  • Active users
  • Storage used

Usage Alerts

Set up notifications when approaching limits:

  1. Click Usage Alerts
  2. Set threshold (e.g., 80%)
  3. Choose notification method
  4. Save

Troubleshooting

Payment Failed

  1. Check card details are correct
  2. Verify sufficient funds
  3. Contact your bank
  4. Try different payment method

Can't Upgrade

  1. Verify you're the owner
  2. Add valid payment method
  3. Check for outstanding balance
  4. Contact support
