tip

You can select multiple focus areas. Your selections help us recommend the most relevant initial configuration.

Step 2: Organization Details

Configure your organization's basic information:

Organization Name

Enter your company or team name. This will be displayed throughout the dashboard and in reports. A suggested name may be pre-filled based on your email domain.

Browser Surfaces

Select which browsers your team uses for AI interactions:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Brave

This determines which browser extensions will be deployed for monitoring.

Step 3: Guardrail Presets

Choose a starting configuration for your security policies:

Best for most organizations

Provides balanced protection that:

  • Blocks common sensitive data patterns (SSN, credit cards, etc.)
  • Detects potential PII before sending
  • Logs all AI interactions for audit
  • Allows business-justified exceptions

Strict Preset

Best for highly regulated industries

Maximum protection that:

  • Blocks all potentially sensitive content
  • Requires approval for exceptions
  • Enhanced monitoring and alerting
  • Recommended for healthcare, finance, government

Minimal Preset

Best for awareness and monitoring

Light-touch approach that:

  • Monitors AI usage without blocking
  • Logs interactions for visibility
  • Alerts on high-severity violations only
  • Good for initial rollout and assessment

Trigger Behavior

For each preset, policies use one of three enforcement actions:

BehaviorDescription
BlockPrevent the action and show a warning to the user
DetectRecord the event and create an alert without blocking the user
RedactAutomatically remove or mask sensitive content before it is sent

Step 4: Deployment

Configure how to deploy Containment.AI to your users:

If you use a Mobile Device Management solution:

  1. Select your MDM provider:

    • Microsoft Intune
    • Jamf Pro
    • VMware Workspace ONE
    • Other MDM
  2. Follow the provider-specific instructions to push the Chrome extension

  3. Configure the extension with your organization ID

Manual Installation

  2. Users sign in with their work email
  3. The extension automatically connects to your organization

  • See how many users have the extension installed
  • Identify users without protection
  • Monitor extension health and connectivity
