Client Management Overview
Clients are the end users in your organization who interact with AI platforms. The Clients section lets you manage users, track their devices, and monitor AI usage.
What is a Client?
A client is anyone using the Containment.AI Chrome extension:
- Employees interacting with AI tools
- Contractors with extension installed
- Any user protected by your policies
Clients Page
Navigate to Clients to see:
Client List
| Column | Description |

| Name | User's display name |
| Work email address | |
| Status | Active, Inactive, or Pending |
| Devices | Number of connected devices |
| Last Active | Most recent activity |
| Alerts | Number of policy violations |
Quick Filters
- All - Every client
- Active - Recently active users
- Inactive - No recent activity
- With Alerts - Users with violations

Client Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Extension connected, recent activity |
| Inactive | No activity in configured period |
| Pending | Invited but not yet connected |
| Suspended | Manually disabled |

Per-Client Metrics
- Total Interactions - AI platform sessions
- Alerts Generated - Policy violations
- Tokens Used - AI token consumption
- Active Days - Days with activity
Aggregate Metrics
- Total Clients - Users in organization
- Active Rate - % active this period
- Alert Rate - Violations per user
- Coverage - % with extension

Send Reminder
Remind inactive users to install extension.
Suspend/Reactivate
Temporarily disable or re-enable a client.
View Alerts
Jump to alerts filtered for this client.
